Plastic spout caps are commonly used in small metal or plastic containers. Its main function is to help dispense liquid products accurately. The major characteristic of plastic spout cap is its flexible spout. The applications of plastic spout caps include oil packaging, paint packaging and chemical packaging.
Design of these flexspout caps varies depending on types of containers and contents inside. A common plastic spout cap is made up of two parts, one part is the pull ring cap on top and another part is the fexible spout below. There are usually different colors of plastic spout cap to choose from for customers.
Commonly used for small containers, and the spout cap has push-on design.
Used for containers with relatively large volumes, metal ring needs to be crimped to ensure sealing function.
Spout cap for oil tin is usually designed to have push-on function. Size of the spout cap needs to be the same as the container opening to ensure the best sealing function. Crimping tool is necessary to install the flexspout cap with metal ring. Proper crimping will fix the spout cap firmly, and prevent leaking of contents inside.
When opening a container with flexspout cap, the first step is to pull the ring on cap and pull out the mouth. Then rotating and removing the cap on the flexible spout top. After desired liquid is poured out, put back the cap and then push the flexible spout back.
